My Favourite Photos 3: In Loving Memory
Of my cousin Ana Maria who passed away on sunday after a battle with cancer.
She was an icon of kindness, beauty and grace and she will be remembered
always.

Sometimes
You wait for years for someone to say somthing.
I know I did.
And then I realised after he said it, I didnt need to hear it anymore.
.
In fact I didnt even want to hear it.
The bitter-sweet victory in fact became more of the former then the latter and the day I always thought I would handle with good grace, slipped by in fumbled words and misunderstandings.
Given the choice, I would rather forget then forgive.
Apoligise lose meening when attached to events long since past. The wounds have healed over, badly and painfuly.
.
Perhaps such sentiments were mearly offered to help heal his eagerly and quickly forgotten battle scars.
The words simply poking and aggravating mine.
Is it love that does this?
Residual feelings that make me prefer him to ignore my existance then acknowledge it?
.
Or is it shame, that someone
once hurt me enough
for it to pain me to remember?
Perhaps you wake up one morning and realise its all gone.
The love, the hurt, the memories.
You forget why you cared so much.
You look at the person next to you and think
"all this brought me here"
.
But I wish I could have got here without it.
I know I did.
And then I realised after he said it, I didnt need to hear it anymore.

Wonderful things my boyfriend says: part 2
Him: (after telling me a story about an annoying girl who wouldnt leave him alone the night before despite telling her he had a girlfriend)...."So I said to her "If Im going to spend my night looking after a drunk slutty girl, I want that girl to be Rosa"
Me: "That should be in our wedding vows"

Things are not always what the seem...
The over all look was for that of a 30's coochie dancer....
with just one little twist....
.
Oh yeah I had a beard!
Amazing night! I dont think I have ever confused so many men in one ago.
I say confused the effect was actually more like distrubed.
I have never really gone in for the typical "sexy *nun/nurse/walrus*" comstumes,
prefering instead to achive somthing authentic and unusual.
And of couse to have a bloody good time :-)
.
My inspiration! and yes I made my own beard.

I refuse...
- To like 500 days of summer, I dont care if its painfuly "realistic", its annoyed me. Zooey Deschannel annoyed me. The end annoyed me. People who relate to the film annoy me. If anyone refers to anyone as their "Summer" I will be annoyed with them. The clothes were nice however and made me want to wear powder blue. The fact I do not look like Zooey Deschannel kinda annoys me. Writing her name twice has really annoyed me.
- To listen to any Kate Nash and feel any of them resemble my life. Especially this one

- To wear purple even if it is "in".
(.)
- To put mascara on my lower eyelashes. I now MK does, but Im not MK.
(.)
- To not buy things I want.
- To wear shoes that dont keep my feet 100% warm and dry.
.(.)
- To keep being shown up by the girl in my class who wears top to toe designer.
- To keep eating microwaved food. Does anyone else think that microwaving food actually removes all the flavour? Seriosuly, even curry. I hate microwaves.
(.)
- To not understand how the london underground system works. I will figure out (perhaps through trial and error) exactly what time its closes.
- To ever compare myself to any of the SATC girls. Although for the record, Im a Carrie.
.
- To keep watching X-factor auditions. If I dont stop, my sanity is seriously at stake.
(.)
- To ever allow myself to be bored again.

A mans best friend
A open letter to Eoin Devlin:
Dear Eoin,
Words cant describe how thoughtful your gift to me is. You have always been my biggest fan and such a great support system all these years! Reading back over these last 4 years of various blogs that you went to the time and trouble to put together has made me see you are an irreplacable friend!
.
I will keep this book forever as a reminder not just of the years gone by but also as a testament to our friendship and of course our immense genius
I appreciat you more then I show.
Love you!
xxxx

Hey You!
Check out a couple of things I have written for my "Real Job"
Here
Then comment on them and talk about how great and though provoking they are.
They give me more money, I buy more things I cant afford, scrape together enough to pay my fone bill, get to keep blogging, you get to keep reading...everybodies happy!
